About Suhasini Yog

Pravin Bandkar, a former U-16 Maharashtra cricketer, turned personal adversity into a lifelong mission of healing through yog.

After an injury ended his athletic career, he discovered yoga’s transformative power and left a secure government job to found Suhasini Yog—a platform now followed by over 8+ lakh on Facebook and 80,000+ on YouTube.

For over 25 years, Pravin Sir has brought yoga to tribal areas, slums, schools, and remand homes—benefiting 1.5 lakh+ children. His teachings blend physical practice with emotional resilience, discipline, and spiritual growth. He mentored three disciples, two of whom received Women Achiever Awards from the Bombay High Court.

A creative force, he introduced ‘ice yoga’ on national TV and performed before Rashtrapti Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam with his students. He also composed abhangas based on Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, making yogic wisdom accessible through devotional Marathi verses.

Free Yoga Camps – A Lifelong Mission of Healing Without a Price Tag

Long before yoga became a trend or a commercial profession, Pravin Bandkar was walking barefoot into villages, tribal regions, and slums—carrying nothing but his yoga mat, belief in service, and a mission to heal. For over 25 years, he has conducted hundreds of free yoga camps through his self-founded platform Suhasini Yog, especially for the underprivileged, the forgotten, and the ignored.

Without seeking any government funding, NGO support, or external sponsorship, he personally led these camps across rural Maharashtra, reaching people who had never heard of yoga before. All travel, stay, and logistics were either self-funded or covered by the modest income from Suhasini Yog’s regular classes. Financial hardship never stopped him.

Tribal Girls & Rural Women: Taught personal hygiene, menstrual health, back care, and yoga for reproductive wellness in remote regions.

Remand Home Children: Worked closely with emotionally broken and socially neglected teens—using yoga as a tool for discipline, confidence, and healing.

One of Pravin Bandkar’s most iconic contributions to the cultural movement of yoga is the immensely popular yog geet “Suno Bharat Ke Tum Wasi”, which he both lyrically and musically composed.
